Selection of varieties (hybrids) beet
For farms with an area of 150 hectares of beet or more it is recommended to have at least three hybrids. For early harvest dates is recommended hybrids Z/NZ-type. Their share in the structure must be at least 40%. To harvest at the optimum time and bookmarks deposited in the portfolio should predominate purpose hybrids (Z/NZ/N-type) – not less than 55%. For the later harvest dates, hybrids use NE-type (no more than 5%). In the overall structure of crops to control cercosporosis is recommended on 25-35% of the area sown resistant or tolerant hybrids.
