Moldova Zahăr is one of the main suppliers of sugar both for local producers of sweets and preserves, as well as for retail niche, for final consumers. Founded in 2011 by Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa S.A. – Polish association of sugar producers, Moldova Zahăr took over the bankrupt sugar factory in Cupcini village, located in northern Moldova. The company managed not only to revitalize the factory practically destroyed, but also to modernize preserving the best traditions of Moldovan production.
